Excellent service, food and value. I love a good chicken fried steak and this place is top-notch. The eggs over easy were perfect, and they have rye toast here! The hashbrowns were average, but everything else was fantastic, including the military/law enforcement decor.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. They have the best chipped beef there is, period. All other food we've had has been great too. Service is quick, friendly, but not fussy. This place gets busy, be prepared. If you're driving by and they're open, you should stop.

We weren't too impressed with our breakfast. We were nicely greeted and seated by the General upon our arrival. However, the service following went downhill from there.
Food prices were decent and fair.
Our waitress was a bit snippy, didn't come to replenish our cups of water, and only offered us a coffee refill when we were settling our bill. We felt like we were an inconvenience. She treated the other table in front of us like they were best friends. Not sure what we did other than come to the restaurant.
